University opportunities
Past students have progressed to study specific
vocational degrees in petroleum geology, environmental science, engineering
geology, surveying and hydrogeology. There are also many other subject degree
courses including earth sciences, anthropology, geology and geography.
Career opportunities
The course provides a good basis for many
vocations, not just geological, which require initiative in thought and problem
solving. Geology students can progress onto Apprenticeships (or job related
careers) in engineering, geochemistry, environmental geology, waste
management and education.
