You must have achieved 48 UCAS tariff points from a relevant Level 3
qualification for children and young people's workforce or equivalent.
You must be able to demonstrate a good level of English and maths and have
access to 120 hours (as a minimum) working in a relevant organisation that
provides services for children/young people aged from 5 -25 years of age (paid
or voluntary). Suitable placements include schools, colleges, youth centres and
family support projects.
A mentor in the placement is also required to support the student with the
WBL modules. You must be committed to being professional and attend a
professional discussion prior to joining the programme.
You must also complete a successful Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service
(DBS check).
