Past students have progressed onto our foundation degrees in Business (Human Resource Management) or (Marketing and Enterprise) and have then completed the top-up degree. Some students have chosen more specialised degrees such as the Hospitality Management programme and the Airport and Airline Management course.

The main purpose of the OCR Cambridge Technical in Business is mainly to use the qualification to support access to higher education degree courses, such as:

  • BA Economics

As well as the above qualifications, there are also more specific function related qualifications such as marketing, human resources and finance.

Alternatively, the qualification allows learners to gain the required understanding and skills to be able to consider employment within the business environment, e.g. apprenticeships, customer services and promotions.
