This qualification will provide you with a range of transferable skills so
that you can progress onto a range of our HE courses.
Past students have progressed onto our foundation degree in Social and Public
Sector Studies and then completed the BA (Hons) Social and Public Sector
Development degree. Past students have also progressed onto our Cert. Ed:
Education and Training qualification which is a professional teacher education
programme that will qualify you to teach in the post-compulsory education and
training sector. After completing this course students have progressed onto our
BA (Hons) Education course.
Most students go on to university, studying courses such as history, law and
english. There are a range of jobs that history can lead to including teaching,
political work, museum work, research and journalism – the list is

when deciding which course or option you wish to take. During your course we
ensure you develop employability skills and gain relevant experience. We provide
information, advice and support when completing your course and progressing to
work or going into higher education. When applying for university we can provide
support with the UCAS application and Student Finance.
