Overview

This course is designed to assess competence in the installation, servicing and fault finding for domestic cookers.

You will undertake both theoretical and practical assessments of competency on domestic cookers.

Entry requirements

You must have a current CCN1 qualification.

You will be taught by lectures, supervised study, practical workshops and demonstrations.

Assessment will be a combination of practical and knowledge tests.

You can progress to complete CENWAT, HTR 1 and CPA1.

Please note this course is full cost and therefore learners are unable to get any fee remission.

You only need to apply once for A Level programmes. After receiving your application form you will be invited to attend an informal interview where you will have a chance to discuss which specific A Level subjects you would like to enrol on.

This realistic work environment allows students to gain practical experience in constructing a single story dwelling which is built from foundations up to the roof.
