Course overview

Geology A Level will provide you with the skills for many vocations, not just geological, which require initiative in thought and problem solving. Geology literally means the study of the Earth and if that’s not important what is? Fieldwork is fundamental to studying geology.

There is a residential trip in Year 12 to Blencathra FSC and an international trip in Year 13, for example to Sicily or Iceland. Both trips develop your skills as an investigative geologist.
