Skills Support for the Unemployed (SSU)
The Skills Support for the Unemployed programme is part funded by European Social Fund (ESF) and is supports long term unemployed or inactive from the age of 16 and resident of the Tees Valley. The programme is aimed at upskilling, and retraining unemployed to support with their progression into sustainable employment or onto a further training course.
These courses, can either be one of our sector specific courses or CV workshops, interview skills, and support with application forms.
Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW)
Skills Support for the Workforce can help businesses to develop and upskill staff through free bespoke training.
This is aimed at small, medium sized business within the Tees Valley form within the Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering sector.

Skills Support for Redundancy (SSR)
Skills Support for Redundancy can offer free training for anyone who is at Risk of redundancy, or has been made redundant within the last 3 months.
This can be bespoke training to meet the needs of individuals to support gain further employment. This can include CSCS cards, SIA, Food Safety, Forklift truck, plus many others.
