Malcolm was appointed by the Governing Body on 15 December 2022.
Originally from the South-East, Malcolm relocated to North Yorkshire just over 20 years ago, and the area is very much home to Malcolm, his wife, and their three children who have all grown up here.
Malcolm has worked for a large International Bank for almost 30 years, initially in customer facing roles, ending up as Head of Premier Banking and Wealth Management for the Offshore business, before moving across to a risk management role.
Malcolm now holds a senior role within the UK, and previous undergraduate qualifications have been supplemented with qualifications from both the Institute of Risk Management and International Compliance Association.
He believes passionately that effective risk management is an enabler, and very much looks forward to working with other Governors and the whole Middlesbrough College team to help the College achieve its future plans.
