Link Governor for Digital and a member of the Digital Transformation Group
Dominic was appointed College Governor on 16 December 2021.
Dominic has extensive experience in the world of digital and has worked and delivered cutting edge commercial projects for 20+ years. Originally with an IT/tech focus, Dominic then started working in the gaming industry on PlayStation games, he then went on to work on immersive web projects for clients in outdoor and engineering. He has since established a high-tech digital visualisation business using AR, VR, holograms and touch-based interfaces to deliver digital projects for a diverse range of sectors.
Through the various roles Dominic has supported the growth of the digital sector in the Tees Valley. He was awarded one of the top 100 Entrepreneurs in 2019 by Maserati and Sunday Times, in 2020 he was awarded Tees Business Tech Ambassador. Dominic now works with both large and small organisations to help them develop their critical digital thinking as well as acting as mentoring/advisor with business leaders and is currently a Digital Learning strategy advisor at St John Ambulance (voluntary).
