College Governor

Carol joined the Governing Body on the 20th May 2017.

Carol is a member of the Curriculum and Standards Committee, and also is one of the lead Governors in reviewing the College’s Self-Assessment Process, and is the nominated Governor for Safeguarding and Prevent.

Carol was a previous Vice Principal – Curriculum & Quality at Middlesbrough College until December 2014, and her areas of expertise include curriculum, quality and she has been an Ofsted nominee on numerous occasions. She is a qualified primary school teacher with a post graduate management qualification

Carol was previously a Governor at Redcar & Cleveland College until early 2017and at Hartlepool Sixth Form.

Carol is a fervent believer in the industry of further education and the life changing opportunities it provides for students of all ages.
