Co-Opted Governor

Aslam serves on the Equality & Diversity Committee, having served as a College Governor for over 8 years, stepping down in March 2017.

Aslam is also an Independent Member for the Cleveland Joint Audit Committee, of the Police & Crime Commissioner and the Cleveland Police, and also a Trustee Director for Kader Academy.

In 2015, Aslam was awarded an MBE for Community Relations in Teesside in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.

Aslam has a wealth of experience in public and private sector and has recently announced his retirement from his full-time role as a Property Surveyor from Accent Housing, and will be spending more time with his family and to build up his property development business.
