Lee was appointed to the Governing Body on the 16 October 2017, and is also the Nominated Governor for Health & Safety and a member of the Audit & Risk Committee.
Born and raised in Middlesbrough, Lee has over 20 years in the Construction Industry.
Starting as a general labourer and working his way up to site Management, Lee transitioned into the offshore Oil and Gas Industry, where he was first exposed to roles in Health and Safety. From here, Lee moved into the training and assessing environments and was asked to be part of a team working for the largest offshore Oil and Gas training company in the UK.
Lee’s current Health & Safety role is with a Large Construction and infrastructure company, and Lee covers the UK as part of his role, managing and delivering courses for them.
Before working in Oil and Gas, Lee attended Durham University (Queen’s Campus Stockton) where he completed his degree in Primary Education in 2013, and was a previous student at Middlesbrough College.
