On behalf of the Middlesbrough College Governing Body, can I welcome you to the Governors’ Website.
The Governors are very proud of the facilities in our £70 million flagship Middlehaven Campus, which opened in 2008. Further investment of £6.5million is taking place in 2012 with the building of our new Sixth Form Centre (MC6) alongside a state of the art astro turf pitch building upon our already impressive range of sporting facilities (MCSport). Watch the progress on site by visiting our MC6 page Building of MC6. The building is due to open in September 2012 with some fantastic facilities. Students, staff, Governors and current applicants for entry in 2012 are all keeping a close eye on the progress on site.
Governors take a keen interest in all aspects of College Life and as well as overseeing the College's strategic direction, the Governing Body continues to strive and improve the environment for its staff, students and visitors and currently invests £1.5 million every year in these facilities. This ensures that students from the Tees Valley and beyond get the very best education.
Our Mission Statement is at the heart of what we are trying to achieve "Driving Ambition, Inspiring Success".
