Middlesbrough is ready and able to support your event.
We have a range of superb facilities. Whether you are organising a meeting of a few people or a conference for up to 600 people, we can accommodate your event.
If you are looking to organise a conference, seminar or other activity, we can help you to ensure that your delegates have an enjoyable and rewarding event.
Our conference facilities have been used by a wide variety of organisations – including such diverse bodies as NECC, Middlesbrough Council, Cleveland Police, Middlesbrough Environment City, Cleveland and Teesside Local History Society, and the Homes and Communities Agency.
As well as the venues highlighted in these pages, additional rooms may be available. Whilst these are generally in use during term-times, they may be available during vacation periods and are used to accommodate large conferences requiring ‘break-out’ rooms.
Conference Support Service
To make your event go smoothly we will provide a specific named person to assist in the planning and delivery of the event.
Registration / Networking / Exhibition Space
Registration generally takes place at our Main Reception or in/near to the Conference venue.
However we do also have a facility called ‘The Internet Café’ located above the Main Reception which can be used as a meeting point for conference delegates and can provide exhibition space.
Exhibition space is also available in the internal street that runs the length of the building.
Competitive Prices
Whilst we have standard prices for most facilities – most rooms would be available for £240 per day and hospitality usually works out about £12 per delegate for a full day event - we prefer to quote a package price based on the specific requirements of conference organisers.
Our experience is that these packages are competitive compared to other venues, and more importantly allow us to ensue that conference organisers feel that they are getting value-for-money.
