Higher Education students from Teesside University at Middlesbrough College travelled to the idyllic Greek Isle of Skiathos this summer, to perform a most unusual piece of Street Theatre!

The students, all studying for a degree in Creating Theatre, helped create the colourful head masks and transformed themselves each evening into the strangest group of 'tourists' the island had ever seen! The characters, called ‘The Pots’, went walkabout around the streets of old Skiathos Town, where they stopped for drinks in harbour side restaurants (poured into their pots of course!), caressed every flower and tree they met and posed for bemused tourists.

Watch out for special impromptu performances by ‘The Pots’ along the main street in Middlesbrough College’s Middlehaven Campus this summer!
