This Christmas Middlesbrough College and University of Teesside’s FdA and BA (Hons) Creating Theatre students present an engaging and hilarious stage adaptation of John Browning’s classic tale, in a production combining traditional storytelling with live music and puppetry to produce a comic caper to delight children of all ages.

Each performance lasts 50 minutes and costs only £60!

Using a simple yet highly effective stage set, we can transform any space in minutes – all we require is an area approximately 4m x 3m, a 13-amp socket, somewhere to change - and an audience!

Performance Platform – features a selection of short scenes and monologues from classical and contemporary drama together with extracts from two new plays entered for the 2010 National Student Festival. These new works form part of Teesside University and Middlesbrough College Performing Arts students’ continued commitment to developing new writing.
