The distance learning unit offers a range of Level 2 and Level 3 programmes. Learning takes place at the pace of the learner through work books, tutorial support is given by telephone or e-mail and written feedback is received for each unit. In the year 2008/09 over 1500 learners have been enrolled and, because it is a roll-on, roll-off programme, learners can complete multiple courses throughout the year.
