“I am Principal / Chief Executive and it's my job to make sure that all students who attend the college have a fantastic experience here and leave with qualifications which provide great opportunities for living a happy, prosperous and sustainable life. It's also my job to ensure that the employers know what skills will be provided by the College so that their staff are well trained and able to add value to the business. Finally it's my job to ensure that the College is accessible to all and that our services are delivered with excellence”.

As Deputy Principal - Corporate Services, I support Mike Hopkins in his day to day duties and I am also responsible for all of the ‘support’ functions of the College as well as leading on major projects such as development of the new College at Middlehaven and our new sixth form centre. I aim to make sure the College has the best accommodation, equipment and staff as possible whilst ensuring it meets its legal and statutory responsibilities and remains financially sound.
